Today is a great day visiting many of the ancient sites around Kathmandu with visits to Kathmandu Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple, Swyambhunath and Boudhanath. Back to Hotel. o/n at Gokarna Forest Resort or Similar.
Drive to Chitwan by private car. Stop on the way at Manakamana to enjoy the Cable Car ride to the Holy Manakamana Temple, a favorite spot for Nepalese pilgrims. Arrive in the afternoon in your luxury jungle resort. Spend sometime at the river bathing with the elephants. o/n at Safari lodge.
In the morning a walking elephant safari. Keep a look out for Rhinos and tigers. You will also have an ox chart ride to a Tharu (ethnic group) village to watch the sunset over the river.o/n Safari lodge
After breakfast, take a canoe trip down the river and walk through the grassland. You visit The Elephant Breeding Centre where you can interact with baby elephants. The cost tariff for the tourist visa in Nepal is US$25 for 15 days of from the date of issue, US$40 for 30 days and US$ 100 for 90 days tourist visa.
