Mardi Himal Trek is an ideal trek for travelers who want to spend time in nature and in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This trek follows the less traveled routes in the Annapurna region, offering a sense of wild remoteness. The beautiful views of valleys, gorges, landscapes and stunning views of Mt. Mardi (5,553m), along with Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6,997m) and Mt. Putha Hiunchuli (7246 m) makes this trek memorable.
The deep dense forests and the high alpine plains along with the stunning Annapurna range offers extraordinary opportunities of exploration on this trek.proceed from Pokhara, along with bubbling streams and grassy campsites create a peaceful surrounding. The forest trail of Kokar, unveil oak, and rhododendrons along with the views of snowy ridges and mountains, and lower down, the trail meanders through terraced fields of agrarian life. From the low camp (3,050m) the trail includes the trees dripping with moss, lichen and feels completely primordial, while the high camp (3600m) has tremendous views of Annapurna South and Mt. Hiunchuli (7246 m). There are huge cliffs, and hanging glaciers fed by the snowy flanks of Machhapuchhre (6,997 m) also to be viewed. On the way, the trail passes through lovely Gurung Villages full of warm and welcoming people and offers a chance to experience the lifestyle, traditions, and cultures of the Gurung. The trail is short but difficult and slippery until you reach Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,120m) and then on to Mardi Himal west (4500m). The spectacular views of Mardi Himal and the Annapurna range from up close are astounding.
One of our team representatives will be at the Tribhuvan International airport to welcome you and will take you to your hotel in a private tourist bus. You will meet with your guide in the evening, and they will brief you about the trip.
Today we take early mornign flgiht to pokhara 25 minutes and drive to Kande upon reaching Kande, you will begin your trek. The trail ascends a long set of stone steps, then through terraced fields, small villages and dense forests. You will reach Australina Camp and continue your walk to Pitam Deurali, a small village situated on a ridge with excellent views of Annapurna South (7,219 m) and Himchuli (6441m).
You will begin your trek through the dense forests where you will get to see Nepal's rich biodiversity. The trek will be short and easy, which will help you get acclimatized with the increase in elevation as you will be reaching almost at 3,000 meters. After reaching Low Camp, you will take lunch with gorgeous views of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997 m) and Mardi Himal (5553m).
You will begin your trek climbing uphill along the ridgeline towards Mardi Himal (5553m). Then, you will walk through rhododendron bushes and you will also get to see Lophophorus (National bird of Nepal) if you are lucky. You will get to see snow-capped peaks like Mt. Himchuli (6,441 m), Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m), and Annapurna South (7219m) along with the beautiful views of Ghandruk Village and Machhapuchhre Base Camp from High Camp.
Early moring we try to arrive at View point altidude of 4200m for the sunruse and stunnuing views of panorama himalayas views with rising sun.Then trail will become more difficult from here, you will ascent and decent and go through the narrow and steep trail. You will pass through the pastures and reach Mardi HImal Base Camp, which is located at 4250 meters. You will see beautiful views of mountains all around you. And we come back same way to High Camp.
From High Camp we decent all the way to Sidhing, watch your knees as we have many steps to count down to Sidhing. overnigt stay at Sidhing.
From here we have easy day today till Lumre, we spend the night at beautiful village and enjoy the senerity of the mountain village and after Lunch take jeep back to Pokhara.Our Trip ends at pokhara or add more trips with us.
