Overview

Yoga is the perfect mixture and a superb union of the delicate soul and the supreme soul. Yoga trekking integrates the natural world with one’s inner self. The ideal outcome is a fulfilling experience that awakens senses for deeper awareness and greater relaxation beneath the towering Himalayas. Yoga has many varied, subtle, yet incredibly superior advantages. Strength and flexibility are enhanced. Yoga stretches your muscles and relieves low back pain, stress, and anxiety. It also makes sleeping better. Additionally, the yoga trekking program is appropriate for people of all ages and offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to improve one’s physical and mental health. Furthermore, including charity along with yoga satisfies your soul.

For the first time, the Everest Base Camp trekking experience will be offered with a unique twist, combining Eastern and Western philosophies of Yoga, meditation and pranayama with the physical endurance of two weeks of trekking and exploration in the highest mountain range in the world. Join other like-minded individuals with a spirit of adventure for a once-in-a-lifetime experience as you hike through beautiful landscapes, visit historical and spiritual monuments, and get to know the rich culture of the people who call these lands home.

You will have daily asana practice along with meditation and group discussions to quiet the mind and to balance out the strenuous nature of hiking. Throughout the trip, you will also have free time to explore various campsites and villages, engage in colourful dialogue with your fellow adventurers and also the native locals, discover your inner sanctuary as you reconnect to nature and to those around you, and be inspired to live authentically, with compassion while pursuing your own passions. Most importantly, this yoga trek will be for a cause.

The fund received through this trek will be used to assist Sunsar Maya– The goal of Sunsar Maya is to provide underprivileged women and children in Nepal with holistic, community-based programs that support their physical, mental, and emotional welfare. Sunsar Maya was formed in 2011 by four people who met and grew close to one another while volunteering in Nepal. The compassion and generosity of the Nepali people, especially the youngsters they encountered, moved them to tears. They decided to improve the lives of Nepalis after seeing the struggles that so many of them experience on a daily basis. Sunsar Maya is now administered mostly by Nepali women, with board members and support staff dispersed throughout the world.

Tantra, yoga, and meditation are thought to have their roots in the holy country of Nepal. Yoga is thought to have been practised fervently in Nepal some 28,000 years ago. The Himalayan location of Everest Base Camp was chosen for the Yoga Trek because of its distinctive natural environment. An exciting experience that revitalises your soul, mind, and body is practising yoga beneath the shadow of the great Everest. You can discover the beauty both outside of and within yourself through this distinctly intimidating experience.
