Nepalese in the whole country and also those living abroad celebrated to mark the historic day. Huge celebration was done in Thamel, the illustrious tourist destination. All the tourism personnels expressed their enormous happiness on the historical proclamation.
Former Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Tourism Board Prachandaman Shrestha said that the business sector is the most excited group after the Constituent Assembly endorsed the new constitution. He said that the promulgation of the new constitution would open up new possibilities in the tourism sector. “The new constitution has encouraged the entire business sector. This has given a political outlet to the long-standing political impasse. It has also encouraged the tourism entrepreneurs to make new investments,” Shrestha added. He also hoped that the number of tourists would increase rise in the country after the promulgation of constitution.
