The classical Annapurna trek with the combination of Manang valley provides the spectacular views of high mountains, picturesque lowland farms, village farms and Local villages. The added advantages to this interesting journey are getting to know about the culture of people of this place and crossing the Thorung La High Pass which is very popular and best approached in a counter clockwise direction, which allows for a more gradual climb to the height of 5,416 m covering the most magnificent views of the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu and the Tibetan Himalayan ranges. It also takes you from dense forests to the sparse Tibetan plateau, passing through ethnic villages of different communities including Gurungs, Tamangs, Magars, Thakalis, Manangies, Brahmins and Chhetris.

About Your Yoga Teacher: Natalie ioriginally from the US and lived in Hong and China for 8 years in the Fashion industry. She travels within South East Asia as a guest teacher and her resident yoga schedule is based in Long Beach, CA. She has spent years spanning the globe immersed in their quest for deep connection and radically fun living.  Now she is teaching yoga and Yoga Trance dance, organizing and facilitating global connections within and beyond the yogic and high vibes life communities, and finding it a pure joy to share her practices and findings with all who are interested. Natalie extends yoga practice to outdoor sports activities and is a dedicated rock climber and snowboarder.

Natalie is also the founder of the Outdoor Yoga Series at Project X Team.  Project X Team is a non-profit that uses sports to spread awareness and teams up with like-minded people, and through sports make a difference. Project X Team offers healthy alternative activities revolving around empowering through sports, worthy endeavors and a loyal support group. As an Area Leader + Yoga Teacher at Project X Team in HK she leads Hike and Yoga classes in HK’s great outdoors.

Natalie finds inspiration from all her teachers to live life with spontaneity, to remain close to the source and to move deeply in tune with the pulse of the universe; and are excited to heal, commune, stir, create, evolve & and transcend through Yoga and other conscious thoughts and actions.

Natalie teaches a variety of styles including Hatha, Yin, and also focuses on Vinyasa Flow Yoga.  Her dynamic classes flow with breath-inspired movement. Natalie has a 200 Hour Yoga Alliance® Certification in Hong Kong during her 8 year stint in Asia and she is currently pursuing her 500 Prana Flow® Hour Certification with with Samudra Global School of Living Yoga | Shiva Rea.  Shiva Rea and her Senior Teachers Twee Merrigan, Adri Kyser, and Geshe Michael Roach inspire her to live her life with spontaneity, to remain close to the source and to move deeply in tune with the pulse of the universe.

Itinerary

When you arrive Kathmandu airport, you will meet representative of Nepal Social who will take you to your hotel and then help you to buy equipment for the trek as per the necessity. Then after short briefing about the trip, you get to meet with your Yoga teacher and do some light evening stretching. In the evening, enjoy welcome dinner.  O/n at Hotel.

Breakfast in the morning and leave Kathmandu along with our crew to reach Bulbule via Besisahar. It takes about 6-7 hours to reach our destination. Beshishar is the headquarter of Lamjung district of Nepal.

The drive continues for four hours on the Prithivi Highway towards Pokhara & passes several valleys and villages mostly through the banks of beautiful rivers Trishuli & Marsyangdi. After Dumre on Prithvi Highway, the way takes a right turn & separates from Prithivi Highway to Besisahar. Now we drive through the forests, terraced plains on the bank of Marsyangdi River for about two hours & reach to Bulbule .O/n at Lodge. 

After sunrise, Yoga with group and then our adventure starts; Crossing Marshyangdi Khola(river) along the suspension bridge and we reach the ACAP check post, passing a majestic waterfall, watching monkeys along the way, the trail reaches to Ngadi and to Lampata. Then, finally making a short steep climb, we reach Baundanda and then climb to Lili Bhir, where we visit the small hot spring. The trek then continues to Khanigaon (1170m) and further to Ghermu Phant alongside a huge waterfall. We then descend crossing the Marshyangdi river on a bridge at Syange (1080m) and and then ascend to reach Shree Chaur. We then pass  a small waterfall, descend little bit and reach Jagat (1330m). After that we take a long climb through the forest where we reach to Chamje. Evening Yoga to stretch our tired feet from First day walk.

Yoga early in the morning and we start our journey for the day after having breakfast. We walk crossing the Marshyangdi river and travel through Bamboo and Rhododendron forests to reach Tal Besi. Our adventure then takes us to the foot of a large waterfall which is known as Tal (1675m). We then descend to Karte and ascend to Dharapani (1920 m). Then the trek enters the east- west Manang valley in a forest of blue pine, spruce, hemlock, maple and finally reaches to Bagarchap. Evening sunset Yoga.

O/N at mountain Lodge.

Early morning yoga and after Breakfast we leave from Bagarchap for our onward journey. The trail climbs through forest to Dhanakyu (2290m), crosses several landslides and travels uphill through the forest to Lattemarang (2360m). The trail climbs and then descends to Thanchok and to Kotho (2590m), a meadow surrounded by huge pine and spruce trees. Walking about half- hour we will reach to Chame, the administrative head quarter of the Manang district. From here, we have the excellent view of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna II and Annapurna IV. Yoga in the evening. O/N at a mountain Lodge.

Sunrise yoga early in the morning to wake up the inner body. After Breakfast, trek starts from Chame. We will reach Bhratang after walking through the pine forest and huge apple orchard which is surrounded by a stone wall. The trail forward has admirable views of Annapurna II, Pisang peak, Himalchuli and Ngadi Chuli and reaches to Pisang, upper part of Manang Valley. Evening Yoga. O/N at mountain Lodge.

Morning yoga, breakfast and the trail makes a long climb with the excellent view of the Manang valley and Tilicho peak (7134m), reach to Manang airstrip at Hongde (3325m). Crossing to the north bank of Marshyangdi on a bridge, the trail reaches Mungji (3360m) and then we climb to Bryaga (3550m), Tibetan-style village. Finally, we reach Manang. Evening yoga. O/n at mountain Lodge.

Early morning sunrise yoga and after having breakfast we climb the ridge to the north of the village for excellent views of Annapurna IV, Annapurna II and Tarke Kang (7193m). If we descend from the village we will see the glacial lake at the foot of the huge ice fall that drops from Gangapurna (7454m) and then back to our lodge. Evening yoga. O/n at mountain Lodge. 

Morning yoga and after breakfast at Manang, the trail crosses a stream, climbs to Tengi, and then continues to climb out of the Marshyangdi valley, reaches the small village of Gunsang (3930m). The trail passes through a sparse forest of juniper, rose, and barberry and crosses a large stream, to reach Yak Kharka (4090m). Walking about an hour further we reach Letdar. Evening yoga. O/n at mountain Lodge 

Morning Yoga and after breakfast at Letdar, the trail continues to climb along the east bank of the Jar sang Khola then descends and crosses the stream on a bridge. Then, making a short descend, we reach to Thorung Phedi. Evening yoga, O/n at mountain Lodge 

Today we get up early in the morning and do some yoga. After having breakfast, we set for the toughest trail of the trek. The trail begins with ascend of steep slope immediately behind the last lodge of Thorung Phendi. The route is too steep at first but becomes less as we gain altitude. We pass many small cairns built by the travelers. After Thorung Phendi, we cross a small valley, descending to the stream & climbing far across the slope. The 4-5 hours steep climb takes you to a large chorten and a short distance after the prayer flags welcome you marking the top of the icy pass. Two peaks rise up from the saddle of the pass. To the north is Yakawa Kang 6482 m and to the south Khatung Kang 6488 m & far below Kaligandaki Valley.

After Throung La, the descent can be very tough though it's not steep at first. We pass within about 50 m of a large glacier. Then, pass few yak herders hut, the trail continues steeply down from here, crossing a stream to another collection of huts. The journey then passes through the meadows & reaches to Muktinath. The entire walk from Thorung-La is about 4 hours & during this trail we can have the first views of Dhaulagiri 8167m (the world's seven highest mountain). O/n at mountain Lodge

Early moring sunrise yoga and after breakfast, the trek starts from Muktinath. the trail descends to Jharkot and to Khingar. Beyond Khingar we meet the junction of two routes. The first one is Kagbeni (the entrance of upper Mustang) and another is to Jomsom. Then, the trail proceeds to Eklebatti following the Kali Gandaki River. We finally reach Jomsom from where we can view the Annapurna Conservation Project check post, hospital, airport and army camp. Evening Yoga. O/n at mountain Lodge. 

We freshen up and then do some yoga. Then after breakfast, we go to the airport to catch the flight to Pokhara.  During the flight, we enjoy the mesmerizing views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan Ranges. Upon arrival at Pokhara airport, transfer to the hotel & rest of the day free at your own and in the evening final yoga. O/n at Hotel.

End of the trip at Pokhara and you stay extra days at Pokhara or come back to Kathmandu. We provide assistance as per your need.

  • Expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest etc. In such case extra will be charged as per actual.
