Yoga and meditation have been parts of human life since the Vedic Period. Yoga and meditation, if practiced regularly and wisely, can transform a man of low spirit into a man of high sprit and confidence by bringing the mind into absolute relaxed, purifying thoughts and making the body smart and stronger.

Yoga and it’s origin

The word yoga means ‘unity’ or ‘oneness’ and is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘yuj’ which means ‘to join’. Yoga originated in Bharat varsa (Nepal and Indian territory) thousands of years ago. It is the oldest system of personal development in the world.

kundalini-yogaYoga’s beginnings can be traced back to the ‘Upanishads’ and ‘Bhagavad Gita’, both a part of the ancient Sanskrit epic of Hindu philosophy called the ‘Vedas’. The Bhagavad Gita, perhaps the most quoted of all Hindu literature, is considered by some of yogic scriptures. Around three thousand years ago sage Pantajali (whom is often referred to as ‘the father of yoga’) recorded the first definitive, unified and comprehensive system of yoga. Yoga is the science of right living and is a means of creating harmony and balance throughout the entire being. It works on all aspects of the person…the physical, vital, mental, emotional, psychic and spiritual. Through the regular practice of yoga various physical and mental diseases can be cured and prevented in a holistic and natural manner. According to medical scientists, yoga therapy is successful because of the balance it creates in the nervous and endocrine systems which directly influences all the other systems and organs of the body.

As per request we will provide yoga special class in our studio for those guests who are going to do trekking. We can also provide our yoga teacher with you in trekking. After completing the trekking, we have special relaxation and meditation class.
