Langtang Trekking region lies directly north of Kathmandu Valley and thus the nearest trekking areaLangtang Trekking region is probably one of the very fewest regions in the world that can offer you 5 different kinds of vegetation zones within the radius of few kilometers. This area can offer you from Subtropical to alpine timberline kind of vegetation within a day’s hike and you will have a chance to see animals like wild dogs, Himalayan Red Panda, Musk deer, Black bear and Leopards out in the wild.
Tamang and Sherpa people are inhabitants of this area. In Langtang Trekking you will have an opportunity to interact with those people, living and experiencing their living, their food and cuisine and their culture. Throughout our trekking period we will travel through beautiful forest of Himalayan fauna including the national flower of Nepal, Rhododendron and beautiful views of Himalayas never out of your sight.
Starting our trek at SybruBensi (1,462 meters) we will climb up for 4 days to reach Kyanjing Gompa (3798 meters) passing Lama Hotel (2500 meters), Syaphru and Langtang Village (3307 meters). Next day we reach Kyanjing Gompa take a day to hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Langshisha Kharka and back to KyanjinGompa for the night, which takes around 6 hours. After our stay at Kyanjing Gompa we will descend to SybruBensi passing Lama Hotel in next to ways, from where we’ll drive back to KAthmadnu ending our wonderful Langtang & Kyanging Gompa Trekking.

Itinerary in Details:

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu meet assist and transfer to hotel and brifing about the trek evening dinner greeting with Nepali culture programmes. O/n at Hotel,

Day 02: Free Day/ Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast at Hotel start to visit Kathmandu Swayambhunath(monkey temple), and Boudhanath afternoon meeting with guide check the trekking gears. O/n Hotel in Kathmandu

Day 03:Kathmandu – Syaphrubeshi (2,100m)
Drive to Dhunche from Kathmandu time takes about 8 hours. From Kathmandu up to Trisuli Bazaar condition of road is very good but after Trisuli Bazaar condition of road is uneven till Dhunche (1950m). Walking time takes about 6 hours. O/n at Syabrubeshi,

Day 04:Syaphru – Lama Hotel (2,410m)
Descending down the ridge past fields, houses and through a forest reaches Ghopche stream. After crossing a bridge mountain path leads to ridge snout. From there descends a steep forest slope to the Langtang river then enters a forest with a gentle ascends gradually gains altitude. After that climbing a steep and comes Lama Hotel (2380m). Walking time takes about 6 hours.O/n at Lama Hotel

Day 05:Lama Hotel – Langtang (3,330m)
To reach Langtang from Lama Hotel takes nearly 5 hours steep along Rhododendron and oak forest, overnight at Langtang (3500m). O/n at Langtang,

Day 06:Langtang – Kyanjin Gompa (3,730m.)
The trail crosses through the stone built village and climbs to Chorten then passes through a Hugemani along a soft trail to Kyanjin Gompa. Walking time takes about 4 hours. O/n at Kyanjin Gompa

Day 07:Kyanjin Gompa – Langshisha Kharka- Kyangin Gompa
An extra day continues further up Kyanjin Gompa to Langshisha Kharka (4,080m) for checking the mountain views of Langtang Lirung (7,246m), Langshisha RI (6310m), and gang Chhenpo (6,388m) Urkeinmang (6150m), Penthankarpo RI (6830m) and so on. Same day from Langshisha backs to Kyanjin Gompa for over night. Walking time takes about 6 hours for going and coming. O/n at Kyanjin Gompa.

Day 08:Kyanjin Gompa – Lama Hotel (3,730m – 2,410m)
From Kyanjin Gompa, return to Lama Hotel through the same way. Walking time takes about 7 hours. Trail leads all most flat and down hill.O/n at Lama Hotel

Day 09:Lama Hotel – Syabrubesi (2,410m – 1,460m)
From Lama Hotel to Syabrubesi trail leads through the Langtang River almost downhill. Walking time takes about 5 hours. O/n at Syabrubesi

Day 10:Syabrubesi – Kathmandu (1410m-1,370m)
After breakfast take a private jeep drive back to Kathmandu the journey from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu takes about 9 hour.

Personal Equipment (for trekking) that you should bring with you:

  • A pair of light hiking boots.
  • A pair of sandals.

  • One light wind Gore-Tex jacket and one light wind Gore-Tex pant.

Meals during Everest Base Camp Trek

All Meals on full board basis will be provided during on trek. Three meals ( B,L & D) a day will be provided from the teahouse/lodge, Each day dinner and breakfast are used to take in the same lodge you spend the night. Lunch will be taken on the way to destination. Reception, farewell dinner and breakfast will be provided during your stay in Kathmandu.
