Jiri Everest trek is famous for the Sherpas and other ethnic groups. You learn to know the life style of their villages and see their culture.This is the route first used by the early expedition’s team to climb Everest from the Nepalese side. Starting from Jiri, the route passes through the Sherpa villages of the Solu Khumbu, many of them having beautiful Buddhist monasteries. The height gain is gradual making it easier to acclimatize. After a rest day in Namche Bazaar, the Sherpa capital, the trail continues to famous Thyangboche Monastery. It's setting encircled by giant mountains has been called one of the most beautiful places on earth.The aim of this trek is to climb Kala Pattar from where the southwest face of Everest can be clearly seen, as well as aside Trekking trip to Everest Base Camp. The return trek leads to Lukla for the flight back to Kathmandu.The "Everest Classic Trek" offers the best chance to get to know the beautiful Khumbu district, and allows for gradual acclimatization.Highest elevation is reached when climbing to the viewpoint of Kala Pattar (5,545 m.).The popular destination points for mountains sceneries are called Kalapathar, Chhukung RI, and Basecamp and Gokyo peak provide panoramic views of mountains and you will be surrounded by over 65 peaks of 6000 meters. The area also offers a large mammals commonly seen in the park are the Himalayan thar and musk deer. Somewhat less common are the Himalayan black bear, common languor, jackal, weasel and the Himalayan mouse hare and a lush habitat for over 118 species of birds in forest. In Everest area, you should allow between 5 days to 28 days to trek. The elevation of the trails rises from 1955 m. to 5550 m. above sea level.
