
Mera Peak is a mountain which lies in the Himalayas, in the Sagarmatha region of Nepal. At 6,476 metres (21,247 ft) it is classified as a trekking peak. The first successful ascent was made by Col. Jimmy Roberts and Sherpa Sen Tenzing on May 20, 1953. From the summit of Mera Peak, the peaks of Mount Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyo and other Himalayan peaks can be seen.
Mera Peak has been one of the popular destinations for peak climbing. It is also the more popular among 33 peaks of Nepal. Beside the panoramic views at Mera it is also the highest peak. In fact it’s probably fair to say that the summits of Mera Peak is the highest point in the entire Himalayan. The encompassing five of the world’s 8,000m peaks.
Day 01: Arrival in kathmandu &Transfer to hotel.
Day 02: sightseeing in kathmandu & preparation for the next destination.
Day 03: Flight from kathmandu to lukla & trek to chutanga 3844m.
Day 02: Chutanga to chatrabu.
Day 03: Chatrabu to khote.
Day 04: Khote to Thangnag
Day 05: Acclimatize at Thangna
Day 06: Thangna to dig khare.
Day 07: Khare to mera la base camp
Day 08-09 Rest day for acclimatization and explore& surrounding
Day 10: Base camp to mera la high camp
Day 11: A spare day in case of bad weather.
Day 12: A Summit mera peak and back to mera la
Day 13-15 Mera la b.c.to mingbo la base camp
Day 16: Mingbo la base camp to pangboche
Day 17: Pangboche to namche
Day 18: Namche to phakding.
Day 19: Phakding to lukla.
Day 20: Flight from lukla to kathmandu& free your own.
Day 21: Departure to international airport
All Meals on full board basis will be provided during the trek & Climbing period, Three hot meals a day (B,L & D) will be provided from the teahouse/lodge menus. Reception, farewell dinner and breakfast will be provided during your stay in Kathmandu.
