Nepal Social Treks and Expedition is the largest full service trekking and tour operators in Nepal. We are fully recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal, the Trekking Agencies' Association of Nepal (TAAN), the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and the Kathmandu Environment Education Project (KEEP). We have been involved in the trekking and travel business since 1999. During this time, we have built up a wealth of experience which has enabled us to provide incredible tours and treks to hundreds of clients from around the world. Nepal Social Treks are specialists in arranging opportunities to discover our country and its neighbours, their mountains, religious places and fascinating people.

First and foremost we endeavor to provide exceptional service to our guests whom we regard not just as customers but extended family members. We understand that the beautiful Nepali countryside alone is not sufficient for an unforgettable tour; expert arrangement by conscientious operators is essential for a safe and unforgettable experience. Our Guides:
We believe that our incredible guides and staff are the foundation of our programs. All of our guides are highly skilled professionals who have been selected based on their technical proficiency, proven safety records, careful judgment, patient and supportive teaching styles and great personalities. In our continuing efforts to provide you with the best possible experience we endeavor to provide you with a guide local to the area you will be trekking in. All our mountaineering, trekking, & cultural guides are experts in their respective field. To make your vacation a more memorable one, our staff will share with you interesting facts not only about the Himalayas, but about the culture, history and religion of the area as well. Our guides are trained by the (Nepal Acadamy of Tourism &Hotel Management), the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation. Our guides are very experienced in dealing with the effects of higher altitudes and since they are natives of Himalyayas, they easily acclimatize and therefore can better care for their clients. They are equipped with necessary medical supplies and can assist you with basic first aid treatment. Our Cooks: Our field staff play an important role in the success of your adventure.They are well trained and experienced to provide you with a variety of food as per your request. We can accommodate clients who desire meals that they are familiar with as well as catering to those with a more adventurous palate.

We actively support remote local communities improve their quality of life by involving them in sustainable tourism. Our Travellers can enjoy staying with local families in remote villages to gain an insight into local culture and customs. In remote areas we will provide a guide from the local ethnic groups.
Education:
We try our best to help local children get better education by placing volunteers in remote towns and villages. Moreover, we support apprentices by organizing competitions among students majoring in tourism, ecology and language arts and employ the best ones in our companies; therefore, our team is made of young and promising travel professionals
